In my previous property purchase about
2 years ago , I applied for a bond through a well know bond originator. According to the evaluation the house was priced correctly , in a prime area , I was financially ready and I had nursed my credit status for this occasion.
Disappointedly, I was presented with 4 “ridiculous” offers from the mainstream banks. The bond originator made a few calls and we then had some counter offers of which I chose 2 of the best offers to proceed with. After several intensely motivated kickbacks from the bond originator to the banks, the final offer I accepted was a 92.5% bond @ 11.51% interest. Second best offer on the table dropped down to an 80% bond with around 12.75% interest.
The results achieved by Payneless bonds this time round were significantly better.
The first 4 offers collected not only came in at 100 % bond , 3 fell under 11% with 1 below 10%.
The best offer with a weighted average interest of 9.905% over the full period of the loan. With an incredible 9.765% interest for the first portion of the loan amount.
Why then were the results of 2 years back and this time round with Payneless bonds so dramatically different ?
In actual fact , my previous bond application mentioned was so disappointing that I hadn’t actually planned to approach a bond originator for my next property purchase . I prepared to apply in person with my home bank. I was convinced it would bring better results this way, but after the first 2 visits to my prestige banker and a couple of calls to the helpline, I experienced first hand and awoke to the reality that I’m dealing with a process that is predominantly system driven and time consuming for queries and feedback. I had no idea what I was doing , also had no insight into what happens behind the scenes. In my experience the banks have lost any personal service and the ability to make decisions outside of this system they have created.
If you are one of the fortunate clients you may have a dedicated and professional banker that prepares well and does the necessary homework. But again through my experience , they aren’t paying much attention to pre-preparation or rectifying your credit status when possible , all valuable steps to take in order to set you up for the best possible results. There wasn’t any pre-credit check to ensure I had a clean credit score and I’m so glad I followed my gut and stopped the process.
In hindsight , I now see the importance of the preparation before application.
Sanette spent the necessary time preparing for each application. In our pre-credit check we dealt with 3 issues which we were able to resolve , I was advised to request a copy of all the relevant paid up letter to add to the application. We even found a legal note from my home bank incorrectly instated against my name , which I spend 2 weeks following up until they removed it.
As the application and credit rating is system driven , Payneless bonds understand the importance of the initial credit check and using these results to prepare and clear issues that can be rectified.
I can confidently conclude by saying , the results were systematically and strategically achieved, I have never experienced this level of dedication and commitment.

WOW!! Where do we even start to thank the entire Payneless Bonds team for their absolutely astonishing service. Our first ever interaction was on Tuesday 2 March at 9am to discuss the process and what is needed. Documents were completed and submitted and the very next day our bond was approved.
